Australian Company Xero Reconciliation and BAS Completion

We are a company in need of an experienced bookkeeper to help us reconcile our accounts and submit our pending Business Activity Statement (BAS). Our accounts have fallen slightly behind, and we require someone proficient in Xero, Australian taxation, and bookkeeping standards to assist us in bringing everything up to date.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile Accounts: The primary task will be to reconcile our accounts, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and categorized in Xero.
BAS Submission: Prepare and submit our pending Business Activity Statement (BAS) to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) within the given deadline.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Xero: The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working with Xero, as they will be responsible for reconciling our accounts using this platform.
Knowledge of Australian Taxation and Bookkeeping Standards: A strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and bookkeeping standards is crucial to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
Attention to Detail: The bookkeeper must possess excellent attention to detail to identify any discrepancies and reconcile our accounts accurately.
Time Management: The ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines is essential for this role, as we aim to have our accounts reconciled and BAS submitted in a timely manner.
Compensation:
We offer a rate of 12 AUD per hour until the project is completed. The exact duration of the project will depend on the complexity and volume of the accounts that need reconciliation.
