Accounting Software Functional Testing

Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented finance/accounting expert to thoroughly test our in-house finance software, which functions similarly to QuickBooks. The goal is to verify every report, calculation, and the overall financial flow.
Scope of Work:
Test all modules (Invoices, Expenses, Ledgers, Journals, Bank Reconciliation, etc.)
Validate calculations for accuracy
Check the integrity of financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.)
Identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies
Suggest improvements for flow and accuracy
Requirements:
Strong background in accounting/finance
Experience using or testing accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
Eye for detail and ability to document findings clearly
Ability to simulate real-world business transactions
Deliverables:
Verified report with test cases and results
Summary of issues or improvements (if any)
Confirmation of accuracy and reliability
