About the role:
Accounting Manager is a key member of a Medical Departures's financial management team responsible for overseeing the accounting activities of the organization worldwide. The role requires excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as a deep understanding of global business operations and supporting the entire accounting and finance team
Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing and monitoring financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial goals are met and report to the Finance Manager.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate financial information to management.
Finance Operations: Reviewing the payment transaction before sending the transaction to approver.
Financial Systems Management: Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software and other financial tools, to support financial reporting and analysis.
Audit and Tax Compliance: To act as main contact with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and tax filings.
Other Compliances: Maintaining the Shareholder Register, Minute of Board Meeting to ensure they are up-to-date and compliance with related law and regulation.
Accounting Operations: Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Internal Controls: Developing and implementing internal controls and/or workflow to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and minimize the risk of fraud.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's goals.
Leadership and Development: Managing and developing a team of accounting and finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work output.
Stakeholder Management: Building relationships with stakeholders, such as banks, investors, and regulators, to support financial operations and decision-making.
Payment Gates: Support advocacy and communication for Payment Operations function across internal and external stakeholders to ensure broad understanding of the project rationale, progress, and impact ( Wise, Xendit, Paypal & Convera)
Vat & Withholding tax & Corporate tax declarations: Prepare Tax filings,IRS, NRAI,Delaware Franchise Tax,City of Seattle
MDTH: PP.30, PND.53, PND.51, PND.50, DBD E-filing (Financial Statement Submission to Government)
DD: NRAI, Franchise Tax, City of Seattle Business License Renewal
MDBVI: Yearly FS filing, Yearly Economic Substance Filing
