Accountant for PAYE Self Assessment Tax

Job ID: 33035131

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I am a full time PAYE employee whereby the company who employs me completes the tax assessment on my behalf to HMRC which is taken from my salary. Owing to my annual salary HMRC are stating I need to complete a self assessment because my PAYE income is over £100,000.00.

The position I find myself in, is that the company is paying tax taken from my salary then I have to complete an additional self assessment which also adds a substantial amount of additional tax which I've then had to enter into a scheduled payment plan over and above my normal tax!

I started my new role in March 2019 and have been permanently based from home, working in a dedicated home office which I have not yet accounted for in tax relief as I was unaware I could receive relief for this set-up such as a dedicated home office, electricity, internet, water etc!

I would like some support in completing the ongoing self assessments which seems to be straight forward as I've completed two now with the emphasis on what exactly I can claim for in tax relief to off-set the additional amount of tax I'm having to pay over-and-above my nominal tax paid by the company.
