WordPress ADA Compliance Fixes

Job ID: 40337360

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I already run an automated accessibility scanner against my WordPress site and it returns a clear list of problem areas; now I need those items actually fixed so the site meets ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA expectations.

The scan flags three broad areas:
• Text readability – please adjust font sizes where they fall below guidelines and correct any poor colour contrast combinations.
• Navigation accessibility – make every page fully usable by keyboard alone and ensure screen-reader announcements follow a logical heading and landmark order.
• Media accessibility – add or repair alt text on images and supply other ARIA attributes or captions as the report indicates.

You will receive the latest scan report plus wp-admin access (on a staging copy first, not the live site). Once your changes are in place, run a fresh scan and manual spot-checks with tools such as WAVE, Lighthouse or NVDA to confirm the issues are gone.

Acceptance criteria
1. No errors or contrast warnings remain in the supplied scanner report.
2. Keyboard can reach and activate every interactive element visibly.
3. NVDA or VoiceOver reads menus and content in the intended order without missing labels.
4. All images carry meaningful alt attributes; decorative images are marked accordingly.

When everything passes on staging I will migrate to production. Please outline how many hours you expect to need and any plugins or custom code you plan to use.
