Job ID: 39913974

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

Project Title

Design and Layout Refinement for “PR-for-AATD” Co-Design Research Website and Prototype Materials

Project Description

I am developing a small academic website and co-design toolkit as part of my PhD project at the University of Birmingham. The project focuses on personalised pulmonary rehabilitation for people with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD).

The site is already live and functional (built in HTML/CSS on GitHub Pages):
https://faldani.github.io/PR-for-AATD/

I need a designer to improve its visual design, consistency, and accessibility — keeping the site clean, professional, and research-oriented (similar to NHS or university style).

Goals

Improve the layout and styling of existing pages (homepage, methods, prototypes, etc.).

Ensure responsive design (works well on desktop and mobile).

Create a simple, cohesive color theme (based on University of Birmingham or NHS blue palette).

Style and polish the interactive “Trait→Plan Form” page to look professional and user-friendly.

Prepare print-ready A4/A6 PDFs for prototype materials (checklist, passport, cards).

Optional: design a small logo or banner for “PR for AATD – Co-Design Project”.

Deliverables

Updated style.css with improved, accessible styling.

Refined HTML/CSS for 3–4 pages.

Optional: logo or banner (SVG or PNG).

Optional: A4/A6 PDF templates of key prototype tools.

Preferred Style

Minimal, professional, healthcare/research aesthetic

NHS-inspired palette (blues, greys, white space)

Accessible and easy to read (WCAG-friendly fonts and contrast)

Tech Setup

Hosted on GitHub Pages

Static HTML/CSS (no backend)

Designer can edit via GitHub or ZIP upload

Budget

£150–£300 depending on scope and experience
