WCAG PDF Accessibility Remediation

Job ID: 39777238

Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR

I have a collection of PDFs that must pass WCAG conformance checks so everyone can use them confidently with screen-readers and other assistive tech. Each file already exists in its final visual layout; what’s missing is the behind-the-scenes tagging and structure that make the content perceivable, operable, and understandable.

Your role is to:
• Tag the full document logically—headings, lists, tables, reading order, bookmarks.
• Add accurate alternate text to every meaningful graphic or mark decorative items appropriately.
• Ensure form fields (where present) are fully keyboard accessible and labelled.
• Verify colour contrast and fix any failures without altering the approved design.
• Deliver a clean, WCAG-compliant PDF along with a short remediation report that records the techniques used and the test results (Acrobat Preflight, PAC 3/2021, NVDA or similar).

I’ll provide the original PDFs immediately after we start and would like the first file back within a few days so we can confirm the approach before you process the rest. Let me know which tools you intend to use and examples of past WCAG-compliant PDFs you have remediated.
