We are looking for an experienced accessibility specialist to perform a comprehensive WCAG 2.2 Level AA audit of our existing WordPress website and fully remediate all identified issues.

This is not a superficial automated scan. We require a thorough manual audit, professional documentation, and proper technical implementation of fixes.
The goal is full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance to the best professional standard.
Full Accessibility Audit (WCAG 2.2 AA)
The freelancer must conduct a detailed audit including:
Manual WCAG 2.2 AA evaluation
Keyboard accessibility testing (focus order, traps, navigation)
Screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver or equivalent)
Semantic HTML structure validation
ARIA usage review
Forms accessibility (labels, validation, error handling, aria-live regions)
Color contrast analysis
Navigation & menu accessibility
Modal/dialog accessibility
Responsive/mobile accessibility
Review of downloadable PDFs (if applicable)
Automated tools (axe, Lighthouse, etc.) may be used, but manual validation is required.
Audit Deliverable
A structured document (PDF or DOCX) including:
List of all identified issues
WCAG reference (exact success criterion)
Severity classification (Critical / Major / Minor)
Technical explanation of the issue
Clear implementation recommendation
Screenshots where relevant
The audit must be professional and suitable for compliance documentation.
After approval of the audit:
Fix all identified accessibility issues
Implement proper semantic solutions (no unnecessary ARIA hacks)
Ensure clean, maintainable code
Avoid plugin overuse unless absolutely necessary
Test again after implementation
Provide documentation of changes made
