I need a single, fully responsive user-login screen coded from scratch with clean HTML5 and CSS3. The form will ask only for username / email and password, then post to a placeholder action I can swap later. Aside from my logo and colour palette—which I’ll send once we start—you are free to shape the visual style so it feels modern, lightweight, and accessible.
Key points
• Fluid layout that reads well from 320 px mobile up to large desktop, using percentage widths and media queries.
• Semantic tags, labelled inputs, and ARIA attributes so screen-readers announce everything correctly.
• Organized stylesheet (custom properties or SCSS compiled to CSS is fine) with comments showing the breakpoints you chose.
• Built-in client-side validation hooks (HTML5 attributes are enough; no JavaScript required right now).
• Tested in the current releases of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, plus iOS and Android browsers.
Deliverables
1. index.html containing the login form, logo placeholder, and minimal inline script if absolutely necessary.
