Remote Assistant for Visually Impaired User (Computer & Tech Support)
Hello! My name is Ionut, also known as Mati by my friends and close family members. I am a visually impaired individual looking for a reliable and patient remote assistant to help me with computer-related tasks. This role is fully remote, and communication will primarily be via video/audio calls, screen sharing, or phone.
Tasks may include (but are not limited to):
•
Navigating and organizing files and folders
•
Setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting software, where this software is inaccessible for screen reading programs.
•
Providing guidance on web navigation and email, where this email is inaccessible, contains images or any other accesibility issues.
•
•supporting with game playing, specially games that are not accessible at all.
Performing general digital tasks that require visual interpretation
Requirements:
•
Experience working with visually impaired or blind users is highly preferred, but is not mandatory, since I will be explaining in each session what I need help with.
•
Comfortable using screen sharing or remote desktop tools
•
Strong communication skills, patient, and able to explain tasks clearly
•
Reliable, responsible, and available for ongoing remote support
•
Familiarity with accessibility software (NVDA, JAWS, ZoomText) is a big plus
Hours & Pay:
•
This is a remote, flexible role; hours and schedule can be discussed
•
Payment will be negotiated.
