Custom MediaWiki Theme Design

Job ID: 39726841

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m looking for a designer-developer who can craft a completely custom skin for my MediaWiki installation. The brief is deliberately open: I don’t want to lock the look into “modern and clean”, “classic and professional”, or “creative and colorful”. Instead, I’d like you to translate my brand’s personality into a unique visual language, selecting colours, typography and layout from scratch rather than from a preset palette.

Every part of the wiki should feel cohesive, so the theme must cover the full site—header, footer, sidebar, content area and any ancillary components—ensuring consistent styling across talk pages, category pages and special pages too. The finished product has to be responsive, accessible and compatible with the current stable MediaWiki release.

Deliverables
• A complete MediaWiki skin (templates, CSS/LESS, JavaScript as needed) packaged for easy installation
• Clear instructions for deployment and future updates
• A brief hand-off document explaining how to tweak colours, fonts or spacing without breaking the layout

If this sounds like your kind of project, let’s talk about the creative direction and milestones so you can start shaping the wiki’s new identity.
