CODEX Site UI Accessibility Upgrade
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a functioning website whose code base was generated with CODEX. The underlying logic works well, yet the front-end experience needs to be friendlier and fully accessible. My immediate goal is to refine the user interface with a strong emphasis on accessibility and to add a reliable, easy-to-use search feature.
Here is what I expect next:
• Accessibility first: audit the current HTML/CSS/JS, then introduce semantic markup, ARIA roles, keyboard-friendly controls, color-contrast fixes and any other adjustments required to meet at least WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Smart on-site search: implement or integrate a fast search function that indexes all public pages and returns relevant results instantly. The solution can be custom JavaScript, Algolia, ElasticSearch, or another proven tool—whichever fits best with the existing CODEX stack.
• Light navigation tweaks: while search is the priority, feel free to suggest small menu or breadcrumb adjustments if they improve overall clarity.
• Clean, maintainable code: keep the repository tidy, document any new components, and ensure future updates can be handled smoothly.
You will gain full access to the current CODEX-generated repo in Git. Please confirm your familiarity with accessibility best practices and outline your preferred search implementation so I can grant credentials and we can get started.
