I have just finished developing a brand-new Related Products module for the product details page and I need it taken from zero to release-ready. Your job is to design and execute a complete testing cycle that gives me bullet-proof confidence before we push live.
Scope
The module must pull and display the correct items, render cleanly on all modern browsers and breakpoints, respect accessibility guidelines, and leave no performance footprint. While you focus on Related Products, please also verify that it plays nicely with the existing description section, which already houses textual details, an image gallery, and a video demo. Inside those textual details we surface product specifications, user instructions, and warranty information, so nothing there can break or overlap when the new component is present.
You are free to use whatever mix of manual and automated techniques you prefer—Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or your own scripts are welcome—as long as the final evidence is clear and reproducible.
Deliverables
• A concise test plan outlining coverage and methodology
• Step-by-step test cases (functional, UI, cross-browser, responsive, and edge)
• Logged defects with severity, screenshots/video, and reproduction steps
• A final summary report confirming all passes or listing open issues
