Android Accessibility Usability Testing
Budget: $2 – $8 AUD
I’m rolling out the second closed-beta build of my Android app and need a fresh set of eyes on one specific area: how well the interface copes when users crank up the text size. Your mission is simple—install the APK I provide, explore every major flow (onboarding, search, profile, settings, and messaging), and keep the system font slider pushed to the limit.
What matters most in this phase is accessibility, particularly text-size adjustment. Whenever labels clip, buttons disappear, scrolling becomes awkward, or navigation stops making sense because the layout has expanded, capture it. A quick screen-recording or a series of annotated screenshots is ideal, but any visual proof paired with clear reproduction steps works.
Deliverables
• Visual evidence (screenshots or screen-recordings) of each issue
• A concise report that pairs each image with steps to reproduce and a suggestion or comment on usability impact
• Turnaround time: 48 hours after receiving the build
The app targets Android 9+; testing on both phone and tablet is a bonus, though a single modern handset is fine. If you have experience running usability or accessibility audits and can articulate problems clearly, I’d love to work with you on this phase-two sprint.
