I am looking for an experienced FLUKA/FLAIR Monte Carlo programmer to assist in simulating two linear accelerators (Siemens and Elekta). The objective of this project is to accurately model the radiation output and measure neutron and X-ray leakage for safety and shielding evaluation.

Project Scope:

Build accurate models of Siemens and Elekta linear accelerators using FLUKA/FLAIR.
Simulate the radiation transport and interactions, including neutron and X-ray leakage.
Validate the results against known reference data or experimental measurements.
Optimize simulation parameters to ensure precision and computational efficiency.
Generate visualizations and reports of the simulation results.
Requirements:

Strong expertise in FLUKA/FLAIR for Monte Carlo simulations.
Experience in medical physics, radiotherapy, or particle accelerator simulations.
Ability to model complex geometries of linear accelerators in FLUKA.
Knowledge of radiation shielding, dosimetry, and neutron transport physics.
Prior experience with Siemens and/or Elekta linacs is a plus.
Ability to provide clear documentation and reports on the simulation process and findings.
Deliverables:

FLUKA/FLAIR simulation setup files.
Detailed reports on neutron and X-ray leakage measurements.
Plots and visualizations of the radiation transport results.
Summary of key findings and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Background in medical physics, nuclear physics, or radiation protection.
Experience working on Monte Carlo particle transport simulations.
