• An introduction that covers the scope and purpose of the report. This might include a brief
overview of the organisation, it’s strategy and a discussion of the firm’s purpose drawing on
relevant information about vision, mission, values, and objectives.
• An analysis of the firm’s external environment, including the key trends and forces in the
macro and industry environments. Note you do not need to discuss all trends and forces in
the macro and industry environment, only those that are most relevant to your report.
• An analysis of the firm’s internal environment including key resources, capabilities, and core
competencies (if any).
• A discussion of the firm’s current strategic directions and methods at corporate and/or
relevant business levels with an evaluation of their sustainability strategy by identifying key
opportunities and risks for competitive advantage.
• Future recommendations that are well justified
