Workplace Policy Productivity: Critical Review
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm in search for an expert to provide a comprehensive review of our workplace policy, specifically relating to its ambition in implementing the best practice to safely deliver nursing care. Ideally, I'm looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience in policy review and employee productivity optimization.
- A solid understanding of cardiothoracic care/health care and safety in a workplace context.
As you conduct your review, please note that our current policy is structured and maintained as a written document, accessible to all employees. Your responsibilities will include:
- Uncovering ways to improve the mentioned area of the policy
- Providing recommendations on how to better communicate it - particularly ensuring understanding and adherence.
1. Select a workplace policy relevant to current cardiac nursing that you believe needs revising for this assessment. The topic of the policy must align with the content covered in this unit and the unit’s learning outcomes.
It may not be feasible to review an entire policy.
Make sure you have a clear specific focus in mind.
Limit the policy to one (or two) issues or problems.
2. Identify the gaps in the policy based on some of the following:
Your experience with this policy and its effect or impact in the clinical environment
The new information you have obtained in this unit
Existing scientific evidence that supports or challenges this policy and associated practices.
3. Conduct research relating to the area of the policy, critically review and appraise existing literature.
4. Create a summary of the relevant studies, identify existing knowledge, best practice and any gaps in research. This will be the foundation for your critical review.
5. Write your comprehensive review of the policy, utilising scientific evidence to enhance your arguments.
Not only will this impact productivity and efficiency, but it's also poised to enhance physical safety, contributing to both individual and organisational growth.
