Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a Vietnamese manuscript titled “Nhật Ký Đặng Thùy Trâm” that is headed for publication, and I need a sharp proofreader to give it a final polish. The text has already been translated and edited; your focus is strictly on proofreading in Vietnamese.
What I expect you to do:
• Read the entire diary carefully, correcting spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors.
• Flag any inadvertent inconsistencies in tone, terminology, or chronology.
• Preserve the author’s style and historical nuance while ensuring the language meets modern publishing standards.
• Deliver two files: one Word document with Track Changes on, and one clean, print-ready version.
Fluency in Vietnamese and proven experience preparing texts for publication are essential. Familiarity with academic or historical works is a plus. I’ll provide the current Word file upon hiring and will be available for quick clarifications.
