Vedic Sanskrit Research Scholars Needed
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am assembling a remote, part-time cohort of five scholars to deepen and document the wisdom of the Veda and Upaniṣad. If you hold at least an M.A. or P.G. in Sanskrit, are comfortable navigating śāstric sources, and can express complex ideas in polished English, your scholarship will fit perfectly into this initiative.
Scope of Work
The immediate assignment centres on critical study, interpretation and contextual analysis of Vedic and Upaniṣadic passages. Your primary task is to turn that analysis into publishable academic articles, so proven experience in research writing of this kind is essential. While the focus is Veda and Upaniṣad, the project occasionally draws on Purāṇa, Itihāsa, Vedāṅga or Āgama material, so an ability to move across texts is appreciated.
I reserve absolutely no space for AI-generated, paraphrased or “humanised” machine text—every sentence must be authentically yours, supported by primary references.
Deliverables
• Two peer-review-ready articles each quarter (1000 - 12000 words)
• Annotated bibliographies and textual notes that underpin each article
• A brief monthly progress memo highlighting sources consulted and insights gained
Work Model & Remuneration
This is a flexible, work-from-home engagement. I review contributions monthly and release compensation in the ₹5,000–₹40,000 range according to the depth, rigour and punctuality of your submissions.
Acceptance Criteria
• Evidence-based arguments grounded in original Sanskrit quotations (with diacritics)
• Clear, cohesive English prose following journal style guidelines (Chicago/MLA)
• Zero trace of machine-generated language (multiple detectors are used)
