I need a meticulous editor to refine a series of university-level educational resources focused on science and technology. The materials have already been drafted by subject-matter experts; your role is to polish them so they read clearly, flow logically, and meet academic standards without losing their innovative edge.
You will be working directly in Word (Track Changes on) and, when relevant, in Google Docs. I expect corrections to grammar and punctuation, consistency in terminology, and subtle improvements to tone so the text remains scholarly yet approachable. Technical accuracy is paramount, so flag anything that appears outdated or unsupported and suggest concise fixes.
Deliverables
• One copy showing all edits (Track Changes)
• One clean, publication-ready version
• A brief style sheet summarising key choices or queries
Final files should be ready for immediate hand-off to our design team. If you have a background in STEM editing or have handled university textbooks, that will be a strong plus.
