Translate German Medieval Metalwork Article
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a 51-page academic article written in German on medieval metalwork that I need rendered into clear, accurate English for ongoing research. Roughly fifteen of those pages are almost entirely illustrations, and about one-quarter of the remaining text is footnotes; you can skip translating both the images and the footnotes.
What I do need is a faithful, fluent translation of the core body text. Please preserve all specialised metal-working terminology exactly as it appears in the source or provide the closest accepted English equivalent while keeping the rest of the language straightforward and readable. No extra localisation or stylistic embellishment—this is strictly for academic reference.
Deliverable: a single plain-text file containing the translated main text, organised in the same order as the original so I can cross-reference quickly.
If sections raise questions about particular technical terms, feel free to flag them.
