Translate Brazilian History Textbooks
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I’m updating a set of Brazilian-Portuguese history textbooks so they can be used in Spanish-speaking high schools. I will supply the original manuscripts (Word/PDF) and, if helpful, the InDesign package.
Your task is to deliver a fluent, academically sound Spanish version of each book while preserving every pedagogical element—chapter headings, timelines, sidebars, source citations, glossary terms, review questions, and image captions. Language should read naturally for teens across Latin America, so please keep regionalisms neutral and double-check dates, proper names, and quotations for accuracy.
Deliverable
• A fully translated .docx file for each textbook, mirroring the original structure and formatting.
• Inline translator notes only where clarification is essential; remove them once issues are resolved.
If you’ve previously handled educational or historical material, especially from Portuguese to Spanish, let me know and include a realistic turnaround time for the first volume. I’ll be available throughout the project for quick historical or curricular clarifications.
