Theoretical Thesis Synopsis Draft -- 2

I’m preparing a concise synopsis for my upcoming thesis, which centers on a purely theoretical analysis. At its heart, the work examines existing theoretical frameworks rather than collecting new empirical data. I already have scattered notes and a rough outline, but I need a well-structured, academically sound synopsis that clearly states the problem, situates it in the current literature, explains my conceptual approach, and sketches the anticipated contribution to the field.

Here is what I expect:
• A 1–2 page synopsis (roughly 1,200–1,500 words) written in formal academic style.
• Clear articulation of the core research question, its theoretical importance, and the key concepts I will interrogate.
• A brief methodological section explaining why a theoretical lens is appropriate and how the argument will be developed.
• Proper in-text citations in APA or Chicago—whichever you prefer—and a short reference list.

Once I receive the draft, I’ll review and return with any minor adjustments before sign-off.
