For this final assignment, reflect upon the presence of a ghost and/or an angel in your own life, specifically one from your early childhood. Address the following questions below.
How has this relationship created vulnerability and/or sources of resilience for you?
How does this relationship affect you in your multiple roles now (professional and personal)?
How does it affect your work with families, your values or professional mission, etc.?
How does conceptualizing these early relationships through an IMH lens clarify things for you (or not)?
The reflection should be no more than 6 double-spaced pages, one-inch margins, 12 pt font.
Please note you may chose to focus on angels rather than ghosts if that feels more comfortable. You do not have to do both, but you are welcome to do so.
This reflection can be personal or be kept solely to the professional realm. Do not feel obligated to discuss issues or past experiences that feel too raw or too private to share. This exercise is fully intended as a learning one, to inform your work as a provider in the field.

If you would prefer another type of assignment, I have an additional option that I am happy to provide (a case study of a real child 0-5) but you would need to be able to observe this child and their parent across multiple sessions (via Zoom etc would be fine of course). Please don't hesitate to ask.
