Simple Quranic Text Translation - 29/11/2025 10:15 EST
Budget: $10 – $15 USD
I have several passages from the Holy Quran, authentic Hadiths, and short selections of Islamic jurisprudence that must be rendered into English with the utmost accuracy and full respect for Sharia guidelines. The end readers are everyday Muslims who may have limited background in classical Arabic, so the wording has to be clear, concise, and free of academic jargon.
What I expect from you:
• A faithful, line-by-line English translation, preserving the original meaning without theological deviation.
• Brief, plain-language explanations (tafsir or sharh) after each verse or narration, highlighting key concepts and practical lessons.
• Clean formatting: Arabic text first, followed by the translation and then the explanation. Use consistent headings and keep the tone respectful throughout.
• Sources cited for any interpretive notes—well-known tafsir works or recognized jurists only.
Your background in Quranic studies, Hadith sciences, and fiqh should be evident. If you routinely consult tools such as Al-Maktabah Al-Shamilah, classical tafsir collections, or reliable hadith databases, mention that in your proposal so I know you work from trusted references.
The deliverable can be a Word document or an unlocked PDF; either is fine as long as Arabic diacritics display correctly and the English text is fully proof-read.
Looking forward to a precise, reader-friendly result that helps the general public grasp the beauty and guidance of our sacred texts.
