Revise Social Science Manuscript

Job ID: 40207152

Budget: $30 – $150 USD

My social science manuscript has received a “minor revision” decision; however, the reviewer feedback calls for more substantive work than the label suggests. The primary requests focus on strengthening the theoretical framework and sharpening the research hypotheses, alongside an expanded literature review that reflects current scholarly debates in the field. I am therefore seeking an experienced academic editor or researcher who can undertake a focused two-to-three-week revision sprint and deliver a manuscript ready for immediate resubmission.

Scope of Work

The successful candidate will conduct moderate revisions to the theoretical framework, revise and refine the hypotheses to ensure full conceptual alignment, and integrate additional relevant, peer-reviewed literature where necessary to strengthen the overall argument. All reviewer and editor comments must be addressed point-by-point in a clear, professional, and collegial manner.

Materials Provided

To support the revision process, I will provide:

The current manuscript (Microsoft Word, including tracked changes from the initial review)

The complete set of reviewer and editor comments

The journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements

Deliverables (Word format unless otherwise agreed)

A clean, fully revised manuscript

A version with tracked changes clearly showing all edits

A detailed response-to-reviewers letter linking each comment to the corresponding revision

Acceptance Criteria

The revised manuscript must present a coherent, up-to-date theoretical framework, clearly articulated and testable hypotheses, and an expanded, rigorous literature review appropriate for an international peer-reviewed journal. All reviewer and editor comments must be explicitly addressed and cross-referenced in the response letter. Timely delivery within the 2–3-week timeframe is essential.
