Proofread Old History Textbooks
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several out-of-print school textbooks focused exclusively on Ancient History that need a meticulous technical proofread. Beyond tidying grammar and punctuation, I want every date, event description, and named figure checked against reliable scholarly sources so the final text is both linguistically polished and historically airtight.
The material is already digitised (Word and searchable PDF), so you can work with Track Changes or annotated comments. I will supply scans of original maps, timelines, and reference appendices that may help with cross-checking.
Deliverables
• A clean, corrected manuscript with Track Changes showing every language and factual adjustment
• A brief correction log summarising any substantial historical fixes or uncertainties that require my review
Acceptance Criteria
• All typographical errors removed and style made consistent throughout
• Dates, sequences of events, and biographical details verified against at least two reputable academic references
• No unaddressed comments or unresolved queries in the returned file
