Post-Independence Indian Economy Study
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I am putting together a well-researched, clearly written account of India’s economic journey from 1947 to 1991 and need a collaborator who can handle the research and narrative writing. The focus is strictly on economic development in the post-independence era—think Five-Year Plans, the Licence Raj, nationalisation waves, the Green Revolution, early public-sector expansion, and how all of that set the stage for later liberalisation.
You will dig into primary data where possible (Planning Commission reports, Reserve Bank publications, parliamentary debates) and reliable secondary sources, then craft a cohesive story that is accessible to non-specialists yet rigorous enough for academic citation. Chicago or APA referencing is fine; just be consistent.
Deliverables:
• A 3,000–4,000-word manuscript in editable format (Word or Google Docs)
• A short annotated bibliography highlighting key sources
• Two rounds of revisions based on my feedback
Clarity, chronological flow, and accurate economic analysis are the acceptance criteria. If you are comfortable blending narrative history with hard numbers—and can meet a two-week turnaround—let’s work together on this snapshot of India’s formative economic decades.
