Persuasive Judicial Activism Prompt

I must hand in a persuasive prompt for my English class that centers on judicial activism.

For this assignment, students will create an outline (sometimes called a research proposal) for the upcoming paper. As this assignment is a problem-solving one, it must incorporate the following dimensions:
Framing the Issue: Clearly frames and addresses a research question, demonstrating strong knowledge of relevant context and the problems raised about this issue.

Gathering Evidence: Assembles, reviews and synthesizes pertinent information from many relevant and appropriate sources with diverse points-of- view.
Evidence Analysis: Clearly analyzes, evaluates and organizes evidence to support hypotheses, claims and solutions.
Conclusions: Draws logical conclusions, offers insightful solutions strongly supported by evidence, and discusses limitations and implications.

Students should develop dimension 1 in the first one or two paragraphs, dimensions 2 and 3 in the main body paragraphs, and dimension 4 in the last one or two paragraphs.
