Mixed-Method Social Research Project
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a college‐level social science research project that must be completed as a mixed-method study. The assignment calls for a clear blend of quantitative and qualitative techniques, and it has to follow standard academic conventions (APA citation, clear methodology, ethical considerations, and proper data presentation).
Scope of work
– Refine my initial topic into a focused research question grounded in current social-science literature.
– Design a mixed-method framework that combines a small-scale survey with in-depth interviews or focus groups, explaining how the two strands will converge.
– Prepare research instruments: survey questionnaire, interview guide, and an informed-consent form.
– Provide a concise data-collection plan, including sampling strategy and anticipated timeline.
– Demonstrate basic statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive stats, correlations) in SPSS, R, or an equivalent tool and pair it with thematic coding in NVivo or a comparable qualitative package.
– Integrate findings into a 25–30-page report that includes introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, limitations, and references.
Acceptance criteria
1. Mixed-method rationale is explicit and balanced (neither strand feels like an afterthought).
2. Analysis outputs (tables, figures, code extracts) are reproducible and delivered with raw data.
3. The final document is plagiarism-free, properly cited, and ready for submission.
