Medical Education Case Report Writing

Job ID: 39811350

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

I’m preparing a set of teaching materials that revolve around real-world clinical scenarios and I need a skilled medical writer to develop two key components:

• A concise, publication-ready case report that can be used as a discussion starter for trainees. The case will be supplied to you as raw notes; I need you to shape it into a clear, structured report (abstract, introduction, case presentation, discussion, conclusion, references) suitable for submission to a peer-reviewed educational journal.

• A short, focused systematic review (approx. 3,000 – 4,000 words) examining the effectiveness of the main drug therapy highlighted in the case. I will provide the PICO framework; you will perform the literature search (PubMed, Embase), screen studies, extract data and present the findings with PRISMA flow diagram, risk-of-bias table and a narrative synthesis.

Both pieces must follow current journal conventions, use Vancouver referencing and be written in precise, reader-friendly English that resonates with an educational audience.

Deliverables (Word format):
1. Finished case report with references.
2. Systematic review manuscript with search strategy appendix, PRISMA diagram and evidence tables.

If you have recent examples of published case reports or systematic reviews, feel free to point me to them when you bid.
