I’m putting together a fresh series of evidence-based articles designed to help medical students translate textbook theory into real-world understanding. Each piece will break down a single clinical topic anything from foundational physiology through to current treatment guidelines into clear, engaging prose that still retains academic rigour.
Here’s what I need from you:
• 1,000–1,500 words per article, written in concise, student-friendly language
• Up-to-date references (peer-reviewed journals or recognised guidelines) formatted in AMA or Vancouver style
• A short key-points summary at the end of each article for quick revision
• Original work only; every submission will be screened for plagiarism
Acceptance criteria
An article is considered complete once the facts are current to the most recent literature, explanations are logically organised (introduction, pathophysiology, clinical features, investigation, management, brief takeaway), references are properly cited, and the reading flow suits a second-year medical student revising for exams.
