AP-Level US History Tutoring

Job ID: 40559743

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I’m an adult learner aiming to master Advanced Placement–level material, beginning with a deep dive into United States history. We will cover the full sweep—from early colonial settlements through modern day—so I can analyze primary sources, craft evidence-based essays, and feel comfortable with AP-style multiple-choice questions and DBQs.

Although history is my first priority, I eventually want to weave in AP-level math, science, and English as well, so an instructor who can branch out into those fields over time is ideal.

Here’s what will make the engagement successful for me:
• Weekly, 60–90-minute live sessions online (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar). Or ideally a few hours a week.
• A clear study plan that sequences content chronologically while highlighting key themes, landmark legislation, socioeconomic shifts, and historiography debates.
• A lot of homework—readings, practice questions, or essay prompts—with feedback returned before the next lesson.
• Periodic progress checks using released AP exam materials.

If you have experience guiding students—or motivated adults—through AP US History and can layer in support for the other subjects as we progress, I’d love to set up an introductory call and map out the first month of lessons.
