I have a handwritten lecture on a post-1970 historical topic that I now need rendered into clear, “basic” Arabic—think Modern Standard that is easily understood across regions, without leaning heavily on Egyptian, Levantine, or Gulf colloquialisms. The original text weaves together detailed case studies, verbatim excerpts from primary sources, and a section that contrasts different historians’ viewpoints; these three elements must remain front-and-center in the Arabic version.
The voice I’m after is neutral and straightforward. Preserve the scholarly citations, dates, and archival references exactly as they appear, but feel free to streamline any overly dense sentences for readability so long as meaning is untouched. Because the manuscript is handwritten, you’ll need a sharp eye for cursive nuances and the ability to query me if any wording is unclear.
