Format Medical Guideline Document

Job ID: 40057698

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I have a 230-page medical guideline currently split into 28 Word sections. Content is complete, but the layout is uneven and distracting. I need every section professionally formatted so the whole publication reads as a single, polished work.

Scope of work
• Apply a clear, hierarchical heading structure throughout, mirroring the table of contents shown in the supplied PDF.
• Set all headings and sub-headings and unifying the font
• Keep the document on single line spacing, with uniform margins, paragraph spacing, and indents.
• Re-work tables so data are easy to scan and the style aligns with the surrounding text.
• Check all in-text citations and regenerate the end-of-section reference lists in strict JAMA style. References were inserted with Mendeley; the library files will be provided.
• Create (or update) an automatic table of contents that correctly reflects the final heading hierarchy.
• Deliver a clean, final Word file for each of the 28 sections, plus a consolidated master file ready for print and PDF export.

Acceptance
A section is accepted when headings cascade correctly in Word’s Navigation Pane, all tables fit within margins, no orphaned text appears, and EndNote/Mendeley fields generate JAMA-compliant references without manual edits.

If you have recent experience formatting large academic or clinical documents and can start quickly, I’d like to hear how you will approach consistency checking, table styling, and reference validation.
