Your essay must be 1-1 ½ pages in your own words answering the question in completely.
Choose one question from the four listed below under “ESSAY QUESTIONS”.
All essays should be in MLA format (Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double spaced, header in the upper left corner of first page with name, class, and date, and centered title).
Type your paper in a Word document and submit it to the appropriate online Dropbox by the due date in Canvas.
Due Date- this coming Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
For the analysis, you can use your book for reference. The questions will be over Colonial America, the American Revolution, Early Republic and Antebellum America. No sources outside of the textbook are allowed.
The American Revolution arose from deep-seated political and economic grievances against British imperial rule. Discuss the main problems that led to the colonies’ decision to declare independence. Then, assess how the Articles of Confederation and the U.S. Constitution each attempted to solve the challenges of unifying a diverse group of states under a central government. To what extent did the Constitution succeed in resolving the problems the Revolution had exposed?
