Several members of my family are preparing essays, research papers, and scholarship statements, and I need a sharp set of eyes to bring every page to a publishable standard. The work is purely academic proofreading: spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency, and overall flow. I will send the files in Word format and would like them back with Track Changes enabled so we can see every suggested revision, plus a clean, final version ready to submit.
No specific citation style is required right now, but an understanding of APA, MLA, or Chicago conventions will be valuable in case any paper eventually calls for it. Turn-around time will vary—some pieces are only a few pages, others closer to dissertation chapters—so flexibility and clear communication are essential.
