Fact checking written data for accuracy and relevancy
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a sharp, detail-oriented native English speaker—someone who grew up in a country where English is an official language (the Philippines is welcome, of course). Must have an academic background. You should be able to pay attention to details.
The job is straightforward: take batches of research papers I supply and verify every claim that can be checked. That means confirming dates, figures, quotations, source attributions, and any statistics or references the authors cite. When something is off, flag it, correct it, and provide the source you used to support the fix.
Deliverables
• A clean, marked-up copy of each paper with factual corrections clearly tracked
• A short verification log listing each change, the original claim, and the authoritative source consulted
Accuracy and clarity matter more to me than speed, but realistic turnaround on an average-length paper is still expected. If you enjoy digging into references, spotting inconsistencies, and making texts rock-solid, let’s talk.
