For thousands of years,humans have looked up at the night sky and wondered whether we are the only intelligent beings in the universe. With over a billion galaxies,each containing a billion stars,the idea that earth could be the only home of life seems both extraordinary and insane to imagine. Modern astronomy has made remarkable progress in searching for life beyond our on galaxy which is the Milky way galaxy,but the quest still remains as hypothesis: are we really alone in the universe?
