Elsevier-Level Research Paper Proofread
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a complete research paper that is ready for submission, but its language must meet Elsevier’s rigorous English standards before I upload it to their journal system. The core manuscript is just over 9,000 words and currently written in Microsoft Word with Track Changes enabled.
The work involves a careful line-by-line review to correct every grammatical or punctuation error, strengthen clarity and coherence across sections, and ensure overall formatting and style are consistent with Elsevier author guidelines. Where phrases sound awkward or ambiguous, please feel free to rewrite them for smoother academic flow while retaining my original meaning and technical accuracy.
Deliverables
• A marked-up Word document showing all edits with Track Changes
• A clean, publication-ready version
• A brief editorial summary (one paragraph) noting any substantive rewrites or areas that required particular attention
Acceptance criteria
• Zero unresolved grammar or punctuation issues
• Logical progression and readable prose throughout the abstract, main text, tables, and captions
• Formatting that aligns with Elsevier journal templates (headings, citations, references, and figure/table placement)
Once I receive the final files, I will run them through the journal’s pre-submission language check; passing that screen will confirm completion of the project.
