Education Interview Thematic Analysis & Writeup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve completed 10–12 semi-structured interviews for an education-focused study and now need the qualitative analysis and writing shaped into publishable form. Your task is to take the raw transcripts, conduct a rigorous thematic analysis, and craft the Analysis and Discussion sections that clearly tie the findings back to current literature and my study objectives.
What I will hand over
• Clean, de-identified interview transcripts (Word / PDF)
• My original research questions, protocol, and any prior memos
What I’d like back
1. A transparent coding trail: initial codes, refined themes, and a concise codebook.
2. A thematic map or table that illustrates the relationships between themes.
3. A well-structured Analysis section (~3,000 words) that walks the reader through the emergent themes with illustrative quotations.
4. A Discussion section (~2,000 words) that integrates findings with existing education research, highlights implications, and addresses limitations.
5. Proper APA citations and reference list for any sources you introduce.
Preferred approach
I’m comfortable with Braun & Clarke or a comparable inductive method, provided the analytical steps are clearly documented. NVivo, MAXQDA, or Excel coding is fine as long as I receive the exported files.
Acceptance criteria
• Themes reflect the data faithfully and are supported by multiple participant quotes.
• Writing is cohesive, academically toned, and free of grammatical errors.
• All claims in the Discussion are backed by peer-reviewed literature.
• Deliverables arrive in editable Word documents plus any supplementary files.
Timeline is flexible within two weeks, though sooner is appreciated. If you have recent examples of education qualitative work, feel free to mention them when you respond.
