EFL Acquisition Paper Q1 Journal

Job ID: 39895293

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m preparing a study on English-as-a-Foreign-Language acquisition among first-year university students and need a polished manuscript ready for submission to a Q1 linguistics journal. The core findings are drafted, but the paper still requires academic shaping to meet the journal’s standards.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Refine the existing data analysis and weave it into a clear, publishable narrative on language acquisition in an EFL context.
• Expand the literature review so it aligns with current scholarship, highlighting gaps my study addresses.
• Tighten the methodology section, ensuring sampling, instruments, and statistical procedures are reported to rigorous linguistic-research conventions.
• Format the full manuscript (approx. 6,000–8,000 words) to the target journal’s style sheet—citations, headings, tables, figures, and reference list included.
• Provide constructive suggestions for any additional analyses or clarifications that could strengthen acceptance prospects.

A solid background in applied linguistics, familiarity with EFL research, and experience publishing in high-impact journals will be essential. If you’ve shepherded similar studies through peer review, I’d love to see examples.
