"Dead Sea Scrolls Prophecies" Beta Read
Budget: $250 – $450 USD
My two-part nonfiction series, “Dead Sea Scroll Prophecies: 1 Enoch, Jubilees and the End Times” and “Dead Sea Scroll Prophecies: Essenes, Christians and the End Times” (DSSP I & II), is complete at roughly 121,000 words—footnotes can be ignored for this stage. I now need an experienced beta reader to walk through both manuscripts and tell me, in plain language, how well the books serve pastors and small-group leaders as a primary audience, and active Christians and college professors as a secondary audience.
The big question you will help me answer is whether complex Second-Temple ideas come across clearly enough for readers who may know only the basics of the Bible. As you read, note where the flow stalls, where the storytelling shines, and—most of all—where technical discussions about 1 Enoch, Jubilees, the Essenes, the New Testament, or end-time themes need to be simplified or re-angled so they remain engaging. I also need to know if the narrative convincingly bridges the “400 years of silence” between the Testaments and whether the tone feels suitable for both potential college-text use and general Christian readership.
Deliverables:
• An annotated Word or PDF file with in-line comments.
• A concise reader’s report (3–5 pages) highlighting overall readability, engagement, and specific recommendations for simplifying dense sections.
