College Essay Competition Setup

I’m gearing up to launch an essay-writing competition aimed at college students, and I’d like a seasoned hand to shape every written element behind it.
Scope of work
• Draft a clear competition brief that frames the theme—Social Issues—in an engaging yet academically rigorous way.
• Write concise rules and eligibility guidelines that cover word count, formatting, submission method, and plagiarism policy.
• Develop a judging rubric (criteria, scoring scale, tie-breaker policy) so volunteer judges can evaluate entries consistently.
• Create promotional copy: a punchy announcement, a short press release, and three social-media snippets ready for Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
• Provide a timeline with key dates (launch, submission deadline, short-list announcement, final results).
• Compile an FAQ and a one-page terms & conditions sheet that addresses privacy, copyright, and usage rights.

1. Competition brief (≈1 page, editable doc)
