Purpose: The purpose of your classical argument essay is to use the classical argument structure and choice of audience to explore a topic of your choice. You will also need to use academic sources to complete the work.

What to discuss: Focus on the notes on BB and the discussion assignment on p. 81. Next, you will want to first think of a topic and the audience that you want to target in your topic. . Choose your own topic. Discuss the topic in light of the audience that you are targeting. Look for material to support arguments as you write. How do the views of writers/researchers on that topic relate to yours? Please make sure you go through the readings before you work on this assignment. Please use the following questions to guide your discussion. You do not have to answer all of these questions.
