Business School Manufacturing White Paper

I need a business development consultant to secure and manage a white paper partnership with a top European business school (INSEAD, LBS, or IE Business School preferred). The consultant will handle all faculty identification, outreach, negotiation, and project management to deliver a 25-page published academic white paper analyzing manufacturing industry challenges. This is a complete delegation project - I provide the research topic brief and industry expertise, while the consultant manages all academic relationships and ensures publication with institutional backing. Budget is €2,000 fixed price for the entire project including faculty compensation and publication costs. Timeline is 12-16 weeks to accommodate academic review processes. Looking for someone with proven academic partnership experience and existing business school networks.
Essential Experience:
* Proven track record commissioning research projects with business schools
* Existing relationships or networks within European business school faculty (particularly operations management, supply chain, or strategy departments)
* Experience navigating academic publication processes and institutional approval procedures
* Demonstrated ability to manage faculty relationships and ensure project completion
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous work with INSEAD, LBS, IE Business School, or similar tier-1 European institutions
* Background in manufacturing, operations consulting, or industrial partnerships
* Understanding of academic research standards and peer review processes
* Experience with fixed-budget academic commissioning (not just introductions)
Critical Success Factors:
* Must be able to independently identify and engage appropriate faculty without my involvement
* Should handle all negotiation, contracting, and project management autonomously
* Need to ensure final deliverable meets academic publication standards with institutional backing
* Must work within the €2,000 all-inclusive budget constraint
