Academic Translation English-Arabic/Russian
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I receive a steady stream of academic papers, theses, and research proposals written in English and I need each one translated faithfully into Arabic—occasionally into Russian as well—while preserving the scholarly tone, citations, and specialized terminology.
Here is what I expect:
• A fluent target text in Microsoft Word that mirrors the original layout, tables, charts, and any in-line equations.
• Consistency in terminology across sections and an eye for nuances that appear only in academic writing.
• Careful proofreading so the final copy is ready for journal submission; lightly edited machine output will be rejected.
Typical files range from 3 – 20 pages (roughly 1,500–7,000 words). Turnaround time for a 5,000-word manuscript is ideally one week or less, but let me know what schedule you can commit to. If you have expertise in specific fields—medicine, engineering, social sciences—please mention it, as it helps me assign texts that match your background.
When you reply, include:
• A brief note on your academic translation experience and certifications.
• Earliest start date and estimated daily capacity.
• One short sample or link to past work (optional but appreciated).
I look forward to working together on precise, publication-ready translations.
