Academic Research Assistant & Editor for FinTech SOSTAC Report (Harvard Style, Turnitin-safe)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
* Project Overview:
I’m preparing a 4,000–5,000-word strategic marketing report using the SOSTAC framework. I need an experienced academic research assistant to support research, structure, visuals, and Harvard referencing, and to provide tracked-changes editing. The aim is to align tightly with the attached marking rubric to target Distinction (>70%).
* Scope (What you will do)
- Research support: Curate high-quality secondary sources (industry/government reports, journals, books) relevant to the chosen fintech brand and new target market; supply links and full citations.
- Structure & alignment: Advise on a SOSTAC-aligned outline and ensure every section maps to the rubric.
- Visuals/frameworks: Provide editable tables/figures (e.g., PESTLE, SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, STP summaries/positioning, customer journey map, KPI dashboard, high-level action timeline).
- Editing (tracked changes): Academic tone, coherence, and Harvard referencing (in-text + reference list); format per brief (12-pt, double-spaced, word count on title page).
- Progress transparency: Work in Word Online (or Google Docs) with tracked changes so I can monitor progress.
* Academic Integrity & Originality (Turnitin)
- Plagiarism kept to an absolute minimum: All material must be originally written, properly paraphrased, and Harvard-cited. I will submit to Turnitin, so please work to keep the similarity score low (references and standard framework labels excluded).
* Files Provided
- Assignment brief & marking rubric (attached).
- Class slides (attached) for context and expectations.
- Fintech brand and target market will be shared after award.
* Timeline & Checkpoints (Asia/Bahrain, UTC+3)
- Awarding: 13–14 Aug
- Start: 14 Aug
- Mandatory checkpoint meetings (20–30 mins):
() 14 Aug – Kickoff alignment & outline confirmation
() 16 Aug – Mid-progress check & edits review
() 18 Aug – progress check & edits review (If required)
() 20 Aug – Pre-final check (issues/last tweaks)
- Final submission: 21 Aug (8 PM, UTC+3)
* Collaboration & Tools
- Microsoft Word Online (preferred) or Google Docs; tracked changes required.
- Short online meetings as above; recorded action points after each call.
- Active communication for any quick comments and updates.
* Qualifications
- Strong track record in academic editing/research (marketing/fintech preferred).
- Familiar with Fintech (Financial Technology) and strategic writing, because the report should be a strategic report for management.
- Harvard referencing expertise with examples.
* How to Apply
- Please include:
() A brief approach for ensuring Distinction-level coverage.
() Two relevant samples (editing/research outputs).
() Confirmation you can meet the 14–21 Aug timeline, active communication and checkpoint calls (UTC+3).
* Notes (Deadline)
- The firm deadline for the final submission is 21 Aug (8 PM, UTC+3).
- If the university officially announces an extension, this engagement may be extended by up to 2 additional weeks. This is considered unlikely (~10% probability). I will notify you immediately if that happens, and we’ll keep the same scope unless agreed otherwise.
