Academic Cybersecurity Research Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m preparing an academic study that centres on contemporary cybersecurity issues and I need a knowledgeable researcher to gather and analyse up-to-date information from reputable, peer-reviewed sources. The emphasis is purely scholarly: every claim must be backed by citations drawn from journals, conference proceedings, standards bodies or authoritative white papers.
The scope is intentionally broad enough to let you pursue the most relevant angles—be that emerging threats, defensive frameworks, incident statistics, or case studies—so long as the final work answers clear research questions and reflects current discourse in the field.
Deliverables I will be looking for:
• An annotated bibliography (APA or IEEE) of at least 25 high-quality sources
• A structured report (≈4,000–5,000 words) synthesising findings, trends, and gaps in the literature
• A concise slide deck that highlights key insights suitable for an academic presentation
All writing must be original, free of plagiarism, and formatted for easy integration into a larger thesis later on. Familiarity with databases such as IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, Scopus, or similar will be essential. If you have experience conducting systematic literature reviews or meta-analyses in cybersecurity, please mention it when you respond.
