I have a single chapter from an academic manuscript that now needs a thorough polish. I’m looking for an editor who can improve grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and overall flow while making sure the footnotes align with the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition.
Number of words - 7,097 (without footnotes); 8,900 (with footnotes). Footnotes are already well written; you'll only need to check for irregularities or inconsistencies.
The text is already well researched, so there’s no content rewriting required—just careful line-by-line refinement and a clear eye on coherence from paragraph to paragraph. Please return:
• A tracked-changes version showing every edit
• A clean, final version ready for submission
